Call for Applications for Albanian Cultural Organizations interested to take part in Cultural projects management - capacity building program Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans (SCP), with the support of Albanian Cultural Observatory Mare Nostrum and Polis University of Tirana is offering a capacity building opportunity for Albanian Independent Cultural Organizations. This initiative is organised with the objective to contribute to increased capacities in project management of and writing project proposals for cultural projects, to help in identification of networking and cultural collaboration potentials and benefits, and to prompt the fundraising capacities of involved cultural organizations. The capacity building program will be focusing on: - Cultural project management cycle/writing project proposals (workshops and mentoring), - Cultural collaboration and networking, and international, regional and national fundraising for cultural projects (workshops). The program will start on November 9, 2012. Selection and Eligibility: Capacity building program is open to organizations working in culture (Cultural NGOs). Applicant should be an active local organization, based in Albania and working on arts/culture projects - be at local/national, or regional and/or international level. Collaborative project ideas, developed jointly with partners within and outside Albania are also eligible. Applications will be assessed by a panel of experts. Some 20 organizations in total will be selected to take part in the program. Out of this number, ten organizations will take part in all phases of the program, including mentoring with regional consultant on development of their project into full proposal. Ten more organizations will be selected to take part only in workshop on networking, collaboration and fundraising. Note: Due to a limited number of participants for the entire program, in instance of a large number of quality applications received, priority to participation in the Phase II workshops will be given to those organizations who have applied for participation in all phases.
